Navigate smarter.
Arrive safer.
Every map app answers one question — the fastest way there.
Lumos answers the one that actually matters: the safest way.
every single year.
Every route has
a destination.
Not every route is
equally safe.
Maps optimise for your time. None of them score your route for safety — lighting conditions, crowd density, real-time incident data. That gap is the problem Lumos solves.
Three layers.
One safer journey.
Safety Intelligence Layer
We continuously index your city — street-by-street. Lighting data, incident patterns, population movement, and verified community signals all feed into a living safety map that updates in real time.
AI-Driven Risk Modeling
We don't just react — we anticipate. Our pattern-based risk model flags routes that are historically problematic at certain hours, or currently trending unsafe based on leading indicators. You're always a step ahead.
Active Guardian Network
Through verified community reports, push-alert hazard warnings, and a one-tap SOS feature, Lumos acts as a continuous safety net from the moment you step outside until you're securely at your destination.
See the
difference live.
Toggle between the fastest and safest route. Watch how the safety score, lighting conditions, and safe haven proximity change in real time.
Built for the moment
it matters.
Live Safety Score
Every route gets a score from 0–100, weighed against the fastest option. You see exactly what safety costs you in time — and decide if it's worth it.
AI Risk Prediction
Learns from historical and live patterns to flag routes turning risky before you're on them.
Emergency SOS
One tap calls emergency services and shares your live location with your contacts. No searching, no delay.
Safe Haven Finder
Surfaces the nearest police stations, hospitals, pharmacies, and 24/7 stores along your route.
Community Reports
Verified reports from real people continuously improve route safety for everyone nearby.
Live Route Alerts
Get notified the moment your route changes risk — an outage, a closure, a verified report.
Fastest isn't the same
question as safest.
Traditional navigation
- Optimizes for time only
- Blind to lighting or crowd levels
- No sense of real-time risk
- Reacts after something happens
Lumos
- Optimizes for time and safety
- Reads lighting, weather, crowd density
- Predicts risk before it happens
- Protects you in the moment, live
Safety isn't a guess.
It's a calculation.
Municipal Lighting
We index street-level illumination metrics to prioritize consistently well-lit paths after sundown.
Live Crowd Density
Real-time telemetry identifies active, populated corridors while avoiding unusually desolate streets.
Verified Reports
Our algorithm ingests police feeds and vetted community reports to route you around hazards instantly.
Active Safe Havens
Routes are optimized to keep you in proximity to 24/7 stores, hospitals, and designated safe zones.
Every journey matters.

The future of navigation
isn't faster.
It's safer.
We're not building another maps app. We're building a world where
nobody has to feel unsafe on the way to where they're going.
From us, FOR HER FOR YOU FOR ALL OF US
Built by two people
who gave a damn.
Lumos isn't a corporation. It's two 17-year-olds from Bangalore who decided
the world needed safer journeys — and built it from scratch.
